5 integrations to help optimize your wellness coaching website
I love talking to my clients about how we can make their website work like an assistant for them. And one way is by using automations. I don’t want my clients spending time on things their website can do for them, when instead they can be coaching their clients and growing their business. Below I will talk about five integrations that will get your website working FOR YOU - to make your business life easier.
PS: I receive a small commission if you use a link with a *. But don’t worry - this is at no extra cost to you. I only recommend products I have used and loved myself!
1. Acuity Scheduling
Acuity Scheduling* can be easily connected to your Squarespace website to help save you time when booking appointments. You can use this scheduling tool so clients can book lessons, calls, or any service you may be offering through your website, directly on the calendar. Instead of emailing clients back and forth to schedule a service, they can simply sign up for available spots, and even pay for them, directly from the calendar.
2. Email Service Provider
It is important to have an email service provider because you want to start building an emailing list as soon as you start your business. You can’t own your Instagram or Facebook followers, but you can own your email list. Also, in my experience, I have fulfilled more orders through email than I ever have through social media. Email service providers instantly help your business grow. I recommend Mailchimp or ConvertKit*, because they both have a free option for those of you who are just starting out. If you already have a bigger following for your business and are looking for a service that is a bit more advanced with more options, Convertkit paid version is for you.
3. Google Analytics
Squarespace (the website platform I recommend for my clients) already offers an analytics service built into your website, but Google Analytics is far more advanced. It has the power to give you more information about the people who are visiting your website. This is important because, if you know the type of person that is visiting your website the most frequently, you can tailor your business to your most interested customers. This means more sales!!!
4. Social Media Platforms
Websites can be stagnant when compared to social media, because those are constantly evolving and giving your clients a glimpse into your personality and interests. So why not connect your Instagram straight to your website?! The goal of this feature is to push your clients into your social media pages. Maybe you posted a new blog about a service or product you are excited to offer, with this feature, your clients will never miss what’s new with your wellness business.
5. Amazon Affiliate
If you are a wellness coach and you want to promote wellness products you know your clients will love, then Amazon Associates is for you. Say you love a certain brand of gluten-free flour and you want to share it with your viewers. All you have to do is sign up for Amazon Affiliate and post a link to the product on your website or blog post. If a reader uses the link to purchase the product on Amazon, you get a percentage of the sale. I have even seen some wellness professionals create their “Shop” page of their website with only Amazon Affiliate products. This is an easy way to make small commissions without having any products of your own.
Have you used any of these integrations on your website? Is there an integration that you love that is missing from my list? Please share your thoughts below, I would love to hear from all of you! I am always searching for new integrations to make my website design work for you.
