8 Reasons Why I Recommend Squarespace for Your Wellness Coaching Website
Since starting my design studio for wellness entrepreneurs mid-2018, I knew I wanted to work on a website building platform that would not only give me the design flexibility to create fun and unique websites for my clients, but that the same platform had numerous benefits for my clients.
I needed this platform to be easy and intuitive to use, to support appointment scheduling, to offer a shop and blogging features, to name a few. And this is when Squarespace came into play. Not only it checks all of the things I mentioned above, but many more.
Read below the eight reasons why I know Squarespace is THE platform for your wellness coaching business.
1. Easy to use
This is the number one reason I use Squarespace! While I can utilize Squarespace’s full potential to unlock cool and advanced design features, my client’s need little to no computer experience to update and modify their websites. Whether it's updating text and photos, creating blog posts, or adding items to their online shops, Squarespace is super intuitive. My clients are out in the world doing amazing things. I know that they do not have the time to learn another computer program just to make a small change on their website. With Squarespace, they do not have to!
2. Design flexibility
While Squarespace offers clean, modern, and easy-to-use templates, I always start my client design projects from scratch. I can utilize my coding and design experience to create something unique and tailor-made for my wellness coaching clients. As a Squarespace designer, the sky is truly the limit!
3. Calendar feature (Acuity)
Squarespace has a versatile scheduling feature, called “Acuity,” built right into the platform. My clients can easily add these calendars straight to their websites, allowing customers to schedule calls, join workshops or events, without all of that email back and forth. If there is a cost to anything a customer might schedule, payments can be done right there on the calendar at the same time.
4. It supports a shop for digital, physical, and service products
My clients can sell anything in their Squarespace shop! For example: call meetings, coaching programs, digital workbooks, ebooks, or physical products - like essential oils or supplements. This feature has allowed my clients to make different types of passive income straight from their websites.

5. Promote your website with the push of a button
With the click of a button, anything my clients add to their website can also be added straight to any of their social media platforms. For example, my clients can instantly promote a shop item to their Facebook, a picture to their Pinterest, or a blog post link straight to LinkedIn, to name a few. I love how practical this feature is, and how it has saved my clients a lot of time.
6. Incredible customer service
Let’s not underestimate customer service! In my experience, Squarespace’s customer service has helped me solve every problem I have ever run into with the program. There is a “live chat” feature right on their homepage, as well help guides, tutorial videos, and webinars you can sign up for.
7. It manages updates for you
Unlike other platforms, like WordPress that force you to use third-party plug-ins, Squarespace is an all-inclusive platform. This means that my clients do not have to worry about tracking down updates for plug-ins all over the web. Instead, Squarespace takes care of everything for them. They are constantly improving their interface and features, so my customers never have to worry whether or not they are working with the latest and greatest Squarespace has to offer.
8.Affordable
Squarespace is super affordable! The smallest plan is only $12 a month, but I recommend all of my client’s choose the $18 a month “Business Payment Plan.” Since I am a registered Squarespace designer, I can additionally offer my clients some really awesome perks! They will receive 20% off their websites right when they sign up, as well as one free year for their domain name if they do not already have one. After the first year domain names only cost $20. Squarespace also offers one free year of Google’s “G-Suite” account - that's worth $72. For the price, Squarespace offers so much for so little.
